About Us

About Us

Our family-run tree farm was established in 1949 by Arthur Western and his father Harry.  The farm was a result of two landscape business, one in Detroit, the second in Romeo.  Arthur sold in 1985 and retired to the farm. At this point the farm was switched from wholesaling Christmas trees into a the choose and cut tree farm. Arthur with his wife Charlotte ran the choose and cut tree farm with their son Scott until his passing in 2011.  Charlotte and Scott continued with the family tradition, until her retirement in 2016. The Farm is now being run by the third generation; Scott & Jill Western. Working with their children Morgan (Husband Eric) and Austin.  We continue to build on the roots that this family has laid out before them.  Scott and Austin have been incorporating landscaping back into family business which has always been a family passion.  Austin completing his education in Landscape management will eventually add a forth generation of knowledge to the history of this tree farm.
We pride ourselves on providing and sharing a Christmas tradition with you.
